Classical garden to cooperate with university

The first Yangtze River Delta Classical Garden Cultural Forum was held in Shanghai on November 29 with the unveiling of the first excellent traditional Chinese cultural heritage experimentation garden in Shanghai.

Cultural and creative products showcased by Guyi Garden at the forum.

According to Tian Zhaoyuan, a professor at the Institute of Folklore Studies at East China Normal University, classical gardens embodying rich Shanghai, Jiangnan and revolutionary stories should showcase their cultural connotations to visitors through these stories.

The practice base jointly established by Guyi Garden and East China Normal University is expected to take advantage of the resources of the university to comprehensively plan the protection, restoration and optimization of buildings and landscapes in the garden.‘
