YANG Changli was born in August 1963 in Jiangning City of Jiangsu Province. She is an associate professor, vice chairman of the University Council of ECNU, and chairman of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of ECNU.

Education & Work Experience

Yang began to study in the Department of Mathematics at ECNU in September 1981. After receiving her bachelor’s degree of science in July 1985, she began to work as a teacher in the Department of Mathematics at ECNU. She worked as the vice chairman of the Party Committee of the Department of Mathematics from March 1996 to December 2002. She received her master’s degree and Ph. D degree of science at ECNU in 2001 and 2005 respectively. She worked as the chairman of the Party Committee of the School of Information Science &Technology at ECNU from December 2002 to September 2007. After that, she worked in University of California, San Diego, as a visiting scholar. She worked as the vice dean and the chairman of the Party Committee of School of Information Science &Technology, chairman of the Party Committee of the School of Information Science & Technology, and vice dean and chairman of the Party Committee of the Department of Physics at ECNU from October 2008 to December 2011 in succession. She worked as the director of the Organization Department of ECNU from February 2012 to March 2013. She became the Vice Chairman of University Council of ECNU, and Chairman of Commission for Discipline Inspection at ECNU in December 2012.

Academic Background

Dr. Yang's major research areas include the acquisition, analysis and processing, system identification, simulation and self-adaptive control of digital signals, bioinformatics, and modern education technology of mathematics. With research interests in mathematical modeling to physical question, algorithm design, algorithm simulation and prediction algorithm, Yang has published more than 20 papers in academic journals.
