The School of Design signed three cooperation agreements with Netherlands One Minutes Foundation in Amsterdam


The ECNU’s School of Design held a three cooperation agreements signing ceremony with Sandberg Research Institute of Amsterdam and One Minutes Video Foundation in Amsterdam in its Designing Center in the afternoon, November 7th.


The delegation of Amsterdam’s municipal government headed by Mr. Job cohen, mayor of Amsterdam, taking a special trip here, attended the ceremony. Vice Mayor Ms. Carolien Gehrels and Vice Mayor Mr. Dolf Veenboer are also included in the delegation.


President Professor Yu Zhongli and Vice President Professor Chen Qun were present at the ceremony. In his speech, President Yu greeted Mr. Job cohen and his delegation, and made a general introduction about ECNU, showing that we are striving forward toward the goal of establishing ECNU as a world-known high-standard university, with a steady process of internationalization of school-running.


President Yu referred the School of Design as a youngest but one of the most vigorous schools at ECNU. He fully affirmed achievements the school has made in taking on the major design projects of World Exposition Shanghai 2010 and the cooperative workshop project with the Amsterdam-based One-Minute Video Foundation and etc. President Yu hoped that the mutual cooperation will lead to more brilliant results.
