Under the guidance and support of the Department of Policies and Regulations of the Ministry of Education and the UNICEF China Country Office, Research Center for School’s Protection of Minors aims to develop itself into a think-tank with first-class research and social influence.

For the 2021-2025 cycle, the research center will establish and improve on the student protection system at school and enhance the schools’ overall ability to protect their students. Efforts will be made to effectively prevent and reduce child injuries and violence, including bullying, sexual harassment and psychological abuse. The center will serve as a theoretical research front for minor protection research in China, a decision-making consultation highland, as well as a talent-training base in this aspect.
