Fifth School Affiliated to ECNU to be built in Jiading

12 November, ECNU signed an agreement with the Jiading District Government to build the Fifth School Affiliated to ECNU.

Located in Jiading, the school will engage in the nine-year compulsory education with 54 classes, 30 for elementary students and 24 for junior high students.

ECNU will pilot a mode of innovative educational cooperation by enhancing collaboration between this school and other ECNU-affiliated schools in school running, educational research, student training, international exchange and information sharing, with a view to boosting basic education in Jiading District. This is also a great opportunity for ECNU to push forward educational reform, curriculum construction, the improvement of teachers' quality and cultivation of students' comprehensive quality.
