According to the evaluation results for the 2020 Outstanding Youth Science Foundation Project released by the National Natural Science Foundation of China on September 18, 7 ECNU programs were approved, a record high in the university’s history. 3 of them are from the School of Life Sciences, 2 from the State Key Laboratory of Precision Spectroscopy of the School of Physics and Electronic Science, 1 from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering and 1 from the School of Psychology and Cognitive Science. The programs cover research fields in five science departments, namely, mathematical science, chemistry, life science, information science and medicine science.
