ECNU 2020 degree show of design goes virtual

The final year degree show “Design Beyond the Clouds” by students from the School of Design goes digital due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Due to limited access to resources such as paints, ECNUers thought outside the box and recreated their exhibits digitally. “That’s why we are so proud of Class of 2020; they have had to be pragmatic and creative in these challenging times,” said Sun Feng, a teacher from the School of Design.

The works on display are an opportunity for final-year students to showcase their talent; they are also a celebration of their achievements and hard work. The website features expanded information on the students, including extra images and video content.

The exhibition was launched simultaneously on WeChat and the official website of the School of Design. Visitors can take their time observing each work in a purposeful setting as they will in a traditional gallery.
