The team of three students from the School of Communication and Electronic Engineering - Zhou Jiahui, Mao Yuyang and Li Jinxiu - outperformed their peers with the project CMOS Circuit Design for MEMS Digital Micro Mirror Device. Their instructors were teachers Li Xiaojin and Liu Yiqing.

Postgraduate Integrated Circuit Innovation Competition.
The competition was jointly held by China Academic Degrees & Graduate Education Development under the Ministry of Education and the Youth Science & Technology Center of China Association for Science and Technology. It attracted 151 teams of around 600 students from 41 domestic universities.
The competition was divided into three sections: Q&A, oral defense and presentation. 15 teams were selected to win the first prize, 35 to win the second prize and 101 for the third prize.
As one of the 10 events of the China Postgraduate Innovation Practice Series Contest, the competition aimed to serve the national IC industrial development strategy, boost Chinese postgraduates' practical and creative abilities, and foster distinguished talents in IC industry.
An IC summit coincided with the competition, during which an IC exhibition and job seeking fairs were held.
