Matsel Valeriy, consul-general of Belarus in Shanghai, and Ernst Yurkin, deputy consul-general of Russia in Shanghai, delivered speeches at the ceremony expressing thanks to ECNU for its efforts to train talented students and enhance mutual trust and friendship between SCO member states. Toure, a Belarusian who attended the first summer school 10 years ago, and Nasha, from Russia, who was a student of the summer school five years ago and obtained a master's degree in ECNU, were invited to make speeches at the ceremony. Zhilong, who attended the 7th summer school and now works at the Tajikistan Foreign Ministry, sent his regards through a video. The three of them recalled on the old days in the summer school and how their experiences at ECNU had changed their life by making them more attached to China.
