Course wins honor

Social Science Foundation of Education Policy and Leadership, a course led by Prof. Li Minghua of Education Administration Department, won the title of “Model English-Language Course for Shanghai Overseas Students” in January 2016. 

Social Science Foundation of Education Policy and Leadership is a core course of Master Program for Education Leaders in Developing Countries. The course integrates economics, sociology, and organizational behavior of education. It’s an all-English course for educators and education officials in developing countries. 

Course director Prof. Li Minhua graduated from Stanford University with a PhD in educational economics. His main interest is in education market and further education. He was the chief consultant of Shanghai Huating Consulting Co. Ltd. He published several articles on high-level academic magazines in both China and abroad. Qiu Weihua, another member of the project, is also from the Department of Education Administration.
