ECNU artists win prizes at 8th Shanghai Fine Art Exhibition

A lacquer painting by ECNU’s very own  Yin Chengzhong won the Magnolia Prize at the 8th Shanghai Fine Art Exhibition on Sept. 1, 2015.

Another teacher, Liu Yuanjie, won the Shen Roujian Art Fund Prize with his sculpture work at the exhibition.

 A total of 17 artworks from ECNU were exhibited. Other exhibitors from ECNU included: Wang Yinchu and Ma Junying, who are art teachers here at ECNU. Li Jianpeng, Hou Yuyang, Ding Dan, Liu Min, Li Xinyun, Meng Yao, Meng Zhaobo, Zhaobo, Niu Yingying, Yao Yuyan, and Yao Sijing, who are graduate students; Yang Hong’an, Guo Yan, and Lu Chenxing, who are undergraduates, all had their artwork displayed at the Fine Art Exhibition. Their exhibits included three oil paintings, two Chinese paintings, two fabric paintings, nine lacquer paintings, and one sculpture.

It was the first time that works by ECNU undergraduate students  made it into the biannual exhibition, a high-level exhibition in Shanghai.
