ECNU Inks Deal with Tencent

On July 3, an event titled “Smart Campus: The Signing Ceremony of Tencent QQ’s ‘Internet + Education’ Strategic Cooperation” took place in Beijing. ECNU signed a deal with Tencent Holdings Limited as one of five universities chosen by the Ministry of Education to participate in this project.

On behalf of both sides, Ren Youqun, Vice President and Vice Chairman of ECNU’s University Council, and Yin Yu, Vice President of Tencent, sighed the deal Strategic Cooperation of Smart Campus between Tencent and ECNU. At the ceremony, Ren delivered a speech titled Internet + Campus: New Challenge, New Beginning, and accepted interviews from the media.

The signing of the deal marks a new beginning of ECNU’s plan for Informatization Construction. According to the deal, ECNU and Tencent will have in-depth cooperation while developing the mobility of administrative management, processing campus data, and addressing other issues related to the construction of a Smart Campus at ECNU.
