“President Chen, may I take a photo with you?” On June 11th , the graduate students were glad to find Chen Qun, President of ECNU, came to chat with them after he had participating in the commencement of the School of Communication.
After taking a group photo with all the students, Chen smiled gently and took photos with every student who want to take photos with him individually. “You need to focus in this way,” he even offered specific guidance on how to photo well for students.

“Only if we don’t have too unrealistic expectation, it’s not hard for us ECNU graduates to find a job,” a graduate said to Chen when they were chatting about the graduates’ employment status. After the photo-taking, Chen had lunch at the University Canteen with some of the students and continued their chat.
“What do you think about most as a President?” The students were quite curious about that. Mr. Chen said that the position of a university president was very challenging, and he had to take various aspects of the University into consideration, especially those related to students. But he would make efforts to guarantee the students’ benefits and their involvement in the management of University affairs.
