JINEE Sets Office in CSU

Academician Chu and Rick Miranda unveil the plaque for the office of JINEE in CSU.

 

During April 16-19, the delegation led by Academician Chu Junhao, Chinese president of Sino-US Joint Institute for New Energy and Environment (JINEE), as well as Dean of School of Information Science & Technology, ECNU, visited Colorado State University(CSU) .

 

In 2011, ECNU and CSU co-founded JINEE. To better promote the cooperation between ECNU and CSU in research of energy materials and geography, CSU has set up a special office for JINEE. The delegation led by Prof. Chu delegation visited CSU to carry out in-depth discussions with CSU’s leaders and U.S. experts of JINEE in joint research projects as well as to unveil the plaque for the office of JINEE in CSU.

On April 17, Academician Chu and Rick Miranda, Provost of CSU, unveiled the plaque for the office of JINEE in CSU. After the plaque unveiling ceremony, Chu made a research report on solar photovoltaic industry.

During the visit, the delegation visited several laboratories of CSU and had talks with CSU leaders. Both sides agreed to expand cooperation in solar PV, nanophase materials, Chemical Engineering, etc.
