On the afternoon of March 21, Presentation of Fifth "Outstanding Teacher Training Program" was held at the lecture hall of the library on Minhang Campus.

33 student teachers, who attended the overseas training project, presented their training experience in UBC by means of playing skits, lectures and scenario reproduction in both Chinese and English, which aroused strong response from the audience.

During the presentation Prof. Zou Weicheng, a Ph.D supervisor of the English Department, concluded the overseas training project from three aspects such as "English proficiency", "educational knowledge" and "discipline development". He affirmed students’ harvest and progress in “respect, equality, and understanding”, “students as the center”, and “exploratory evaluation”.

Vice President Guo Weilu highly praised the students for their excellent performance. He pointed out that ECNU would continuously increase investment to enrich and improve the content and form of participation of the overseas training projects for undergraduate students so that all the students in ECNU would have chances to better discover and expand their own potential.

As an important part of the cultivation of top student teachers in ECNU, “Outstanding Teacher Training Program”, since its launch in 2010, has provided opportunities for students to experience the status of basic education in the West to expand their visions, enhance their abilities and stimulate their motivation and potential of learning by means of well-designed courses, visits and interactions.
