During the Spring Festival, Confucius Institutes supported by ECNU celebrated the Chinese New Year with colorful activities. Writing couplets, cutting window grilles, making Chinese knots, making dumplings, and playing lion dances not only added strong festive atmosphere to the places where the Confucius Institutes located but also provided good opportunities for local citizens to know more about the traditional Chinese customs.

On Feb. 2, the lion dances and martial arts performance provided by the Confucius Institute at China Institute in New York attracted more than 400 local viewers.
