On November 13, student reporters of ECNU Newspaper attended a training course at CCTV-2 Shanghai Station in Lujiazui during which they visited the station and had interactions with CCTV-2 Chief Editor Mou Ying as well as some other senior CCTV financial correspondents.
CCTV editors introduce the process of making TV programs.
At the station, the students first visited the guidance and control room, live room and editing room which provided them a clear knowledge of the live broadcasting machines. In the studio hall, the students enjoyed some HD pictures, and had a look at various lighting and editing equipments. Besides that, CCTV-2 editors also introduced the process and details of making TV programs to the students.

After that, the students attended a lecture given by some senior CCTV financial correspondents on news editing and planning. Gu Zhiyi, one of the senior correspondents, said that apart from general news factors, finance data and professional finance knowledge as well as their application are also critical in financial news reporting. Correspondents Zhang Yinan, Li Lei introduced CCTV’s processing pattern and ways of reporting in some major news events.
CCTV-2 is the finance focused channel of the CCTV (China Central Television) Network. It's a semi-comprehensive channel which mainly broadcasts economic and life service programs.
