On Nov. 20, the 2nd Summit Forum of Chambers of Commerce with Chinese Characteristics was held at Zhongbei Campus.
Experts and officials including Wang Zhongming, Deputy Secretary-general of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce and Executive Vice Chairman of Research Association of China’s Private Economy, Ji Xiadong, Chairman of Research Association of Shanghai’s Private Economy, Gao Kaiyun, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Federation of Industry & Commerce, Cao Wenze, Executive Vice Chairman of the University Council of ECNU and Luo Guozheng, Deputy Director of the University Council of ECNU and Director of Research Center of Chambers of Commerce with Chinese Characteristics, attended the forum. Xi Side, Executive Vice Chairman of Research Association of Shanghai’s Private Economy presided over the forum.
The forum attracts many experts and audiences.
Focusing on national rejuvenation and missions of chambers of commerce, hot topics of nowadays research of chambers, and the basic features of chambers of commerce with Chinese characteristics, Lin Tuo, a professor of ECNU and Vice Director of Research Center of Chamber of Commerce with Chinese Characteristics, Zhang Yihe, a professor of ECNU and a member of the national committee of CPPCC, and Ji Xiaodong made keynote speeches in the forum respectively.
In November 2012, ECNU set up Research Center of Chambers of Commerce with Chinese Characteristics with Shanghai Federation of Industry & Commerce and Research Association of Shanghai’s Private Economy. Since its establishment, the center has undertaken projects of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce, Advisory Committee for Policy Decision of Shanghai Municipality, the Development Research Centre of Shanghai Municipality, Baoshan District and Minhang District and has developed a series of research achievements.
