5th International Students’ Sports Games Held

On Oct. 23 afternoon, the 5^th International Students’ Sports Games of the University were kicked off  at North Zhongshan Campus.

 

The interesting competitions of tug-of-war, long rope skipping, 4*100m relay race and five-person tied walking race attracted 68 teams of more than 500 international students from 82 countries to participate in the Games.

In recent years, the number of ECNU’s international students has been growing steadily. The International Students’ Sports Games held in every autumn to enrich the foreign students’ life, and build a platform for mutual exchange, better understanding and friendship among students from different countries.

In the following days, the University will also organize a friendship football match and a friendship basketball match between the Chinese and international students, as well as the 7^th International Cultural Festival to promote the communication between the Chinese and international students.
