ON September 21, 1st China Management Case Competition came to an end in Science Hall at Zhongbei Campus. Lu Jing, Vice Director of Shanghai Municipal Education Commission,together with President Chen Qun witnessed the whole competition and awarded the winning teams. Dalian University of Technology and ECNU were respectively granted first and second prize, and Prof. Sun Binyi of ECNU won the Best Coach Award.

Since its inception in March this year, this competition has attracted about 300 teams with over 3000 MBA students from 54 universities around the country. After a series of campus breakout games and promotion races, 12 teams including Zhejiang University, Nanjing University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, ECNU, etc., entered the final competition.
With a brand new competing mode of two teams’ PK on stating management cases, the competition focused on testing contestants’ analyzing and predicting skills in hot social issues and their abilities to solve complex problems concerning strategic development of the industry and single businesses, which received highly praises from Chen Qun and Lu Jing.

In his address, Chen Qun said that as an important part of MBA’s practice teaching, this competition could help to form participants’ professional thought and team spirit. Lu Jing also confirmed its importance in MBA teaching and cooperation.
The China Management Case Competition was co-hosted by China Management Case-sharing Center, China Management Case Center Association and Management Case Study Commission of Chinese Society for Management Modernization with the final competition undertook by ECNU’s MBA Education Center.
