“So Young” Cultural Activities Win Popularity

 Xu Jilin, Liu Qin, Liang Wendao and Jiang Fangzhou share memories of  their youth with ECNUers.

 

On Sep. 25 afternoon, the forum "So Young" focusing on memories of youth, first activity of the "So Young" Cultural Activities, was held at the lecture hall of the library at Minhang Campus.

 

At the forum, ECNU Prof. Xu Jilin, a renowned scholar born in the 1950s, Liu Qin, an ECNU professor born in the 1960s, Liang Wendao, a host of Phoenix TV and a famous cultural critic born in the 1970s, and Jiang Fangzhou, Vice Editor-in-chief of New Weekly and a well-known writer born in the 1980s, shared memories of their youth in different times.

 

 

The forum attracts many audiences.

 

The forum attracted so many audiences that even the corridors and the windowsills of the lecture hall were filled with cordial students. The four scholars’ answers to how to balance the reality and the dreams, and how to understand young people’s “Chinese Dreams” evoked a strong empathy among the audiences.
