Department of Politics Signs Deal With UiB’s Department of Comparative Politics

On April 10, the delegation of Department of Comparative Politics, University of Bergen (UiB) led by Lise Rakner, head of the department, visited the Department of Politics of ECNU and both sides signed a cooperation agreement in order to promote more cooperation and exchanges between the two departments.

 

With the development of globalization and modernization, the political science research faces many new subjects. How to develop the research on China’s politics into the background is the direction towards which the discipline of politics of ECNU will make efforts. UiB’s Department of Comparative Politics is one of the few institutions focused on comparative politics. Although it has achieved great success in the political studies of Europe, America, Latin America, and Africa, UiB’s Department of Comparative Politics still remains in the fledging period in the field of the studies on China’s politics. Therefore, the two departments decided to establish the cooperation relationship and signed the deal on the morning of April 10.

  

 

 

 

 

According to the agreement, both sides will make comprehensive cooperation in the exchanges of teaching and scientific research faculties, students as well as some international projects.
