ECNU Establishes Center of Cloud Computing & Big Data

 

To better develop the computer technology and science in China, a forum of cloud computing and big data was held in ECNU on April 15-16, and more than 60 experts and scholars at home and abroad attended the forum.

 

At the forum, ECNU established its Center of Cloud Computing & Big Data to construct an international big data platform for world forefront research and development based on typical Chinese applications. As the first center of cloud computing & big data set up by universities in China, the center will boost the application of scientific research results in computing science.

  

     

  

 

Established by ECNU, the center has won great support from 8 partner universities including Tsinghua University, Wuhan University, etc. and 6 partner enterprises like Microsoft, SAP, etc. in market demand research, joint research projects and application of scientific results. At present, the center has attracted many IT experts and scholars at home and abroad, which will make the center “a silicon valley” in China.
