Chen Qun and Ren Youqun meet the delegation led by Vice President of Colorado State University.
On March 18 -20, a delegation lead by Prof. William Farland, vice president of Colorado State University visited ECNU. ECNU president Chen Qun, Vice President and Vice Chairman of the University Council Ren Youqun, Vice Presidents Zhu Ziqiang and Sun Zhenrong met the guests respectively.
During the visit, representatives from ECNU and Colorado State University exchanged opinions in deepening the cooperation in Joint Research Institute of New Energy and Environment, a joint research institute of the two universities. Prof. Farland congratulated President Chen’s new inauguration and paid a high compliment on the cooperation of the two universities in the past. He expressed his support to the cooperation in the future. Zhu Ziqiang together with experts from ECNU met the delegation and discussed with the guests in details about the cooperation, including how to integrate the advantageous sources of the two universities, key research areas of the Institute, etc.

ECNU has been one of the 14 important strategic partners around the globe of Colorado State University since they first set up collaborative relations in 2008. The two universities has had extensive and deep cooperation in joint training of double degrees, scientific research as well as the establishment of joint research institutes.
