On March 28, in Zizhu Kindergarten Affiliated to ECNU, groups of lovely kids were capering happily to the music with their parents and grandparents taking pictures and clapping hands around, which was part of the scenes of the open day activities of the kindergarten. Just steps away, in the multi-function hall of Zizhu Primary School Affiliated to ECNU, many members of ECNU staff and also parents of the primary students were sitting in a circle, listening attentively to the principal Zhang Jilei introducing the running conditions of Zizhu Primary school. This was the second open day activities of Zizhu Kindergarten and Zizhu Primary School since they first opened their doors successfully to the public in 2012.
In order to guarantee the efficiency of the open day activities, under the support of Basic Education Office of ECNU, Zizhu Kindergarten and Zizhu Primary School guided visitors into the schoolyards and classes with carefully designed plans so that they could observe and experience more of the kindergarten/school. All visitors were impressed deeply by the beautiful schoolyard, rich and colorful curriculum designs, exquisite teaching management as well as high-quality specialized teachers. They expressed their willingness to send their children to Zizhu Educational Park and were full of confidence about the future development of the park.
Since the launch in 2011, Zizhu Primary School and Zizhu Kindergarten have gained much social attention in a short period of time because of their remarkable running efficiency. But as for how to make ECNU staff, the major part of the parents of the kids in the kindergarten/school, know more about the running achievement of the kindergarten and the school, they have held open day activities for two consecutive years since 2012. On one hand, visitors can know more about their children’s life in the kindergarten or the school and the running conditions of the kindergarten/school in a comprehensive way. On the other hand, parents can further strengthen their confidence in the future of the kindergarten / school after the visit on the spot.
