
The “magic mirror” can not only be used as a normal mirror, but also a tablet computer which can interact with mobile phones installed with Waver, a kind of popular interactive software. Only with a gentle touch of the finger and a slight wave of the phone, the user can transfer information from the “mirror” to the phone and vice versa. More over, with hand tracking and gesture recognition, the “mirror” can realize a more humanized operation model.
The “mirror” has showed up in 2011 Shanghai World Industrial Expo and 2012 Ningbo Expo during which gained a great number of affirmation from many enterprises. The perfect combination of touch technology and specially designed mirror enables the application of experimental operation and visual display at the same time which can be applied to interactive teaching, lecturing, product exhibition, interactive games, etc. Zhang Yang, a Sophia member, said that they would further the research of the “mirror” to perfect its function in future.
