Spring Festival Gala Held for Students Staying on Campus

More than 700 students from home and abroad celebrated the coming Spring Festival with University leaders and teachers at West Dining Hall of Zhongbei Campus on the night of February 6 as the Spring Festival gala for students staying on campus for winter vocation was held there.

 

 

 

 

Decorations, greetings, music and delicious food made the dining hall a place of great joy and happiness. During the gala, students could enjoy both hearty dishes and excellent performances. Besides that, President Chen Qun and other University leaders extended their new year’s greetings and sent gifts to these students.

 

  

 

 

 

“The Spring Festival gala for students staying on campus is very necessary and wonderful. It can ease our homesick during this special festival and make us feel more care and love from our Alma Mater, ”said Mo Lihua, a senior graduate student of the Physics Department. Mo, a girl from Guangxi Province, had spent three such galas in ECNU.

 

 

 

Every winter vocation, hundreds of students staying on campus because of various reasons such as job-hunting, lab work or internships. To ease these students’ homesick especially during the Spring Festival, the University holds this kind of gala for them every year.
