Three ECNU projects including 1 major national project and 2 key national projects of social sciences won approval from National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science according to the list of 2012 National Social Science Fund Projects ( the 4th batch) recently issued by the Office.
With the 3 newly approved projects, The number of ECNU‘s approved projects from National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science last year has leapt into the front ranks of the country’s universities as the University has won approval for 6 major national projects and 7 key national projects of social sciences in 2012.
Furthermore, the major national project won by Prof. Gui Shixun's team of the School of Social Development marks the beginning of ECNU in winning approval for major interdisciplinary national projects, according to the University’s Office of Social Science.
