ECNU students experience the high-end technology in Huawei.
To make students have a better idea of career and working lives, the Employment Advisory Service Center (EASC) of ECNU arranged two enterprises tours to L'oreal, Huawei and some other world famous enterprises on December 19 and December 25 respectively, which gave great opportunities for students to have close contacts with these world top enterprises.
On December 19, EASC teachers led tens of students visited Huawei Shanghai Research Institute located in Jinqiao Development Zone. Guided by Huawei staff, the students visited the group park and product line of Huawei. Both the modern working environment and high-end technology in Huawei impressed all the students deeply. In the institute, the students also got some first-hand employment information of Huawei as the company’s Human Resources Department staff made a detail introduction about the company’s recruitment needs in recent years to them. Besides that, two ECNU alumni working in Huawei shared their personal career experience with the students.

ECNU students exchange with L'oreal staff.
On December 25,more than 30 ECNU students made a tour to L'oreal (China) headquarter. Guided by Jiang Chen’ao, L'Oreal Campus Recruitment Manager and also an ECNU alumnus, and his colleagues, the students visited the office area of YUE-SAI cosmetics. The visit made the students not only have a close contact with the cozy working environment in L'oreal but also know more about the fine division and cooperation of labor in the company’s various departments, as well as the entire operation process of the cosmetics from production to market.
In L'oreal, the students also had an exchange with senior HR mangers and some successful ECNU alumni and alumnae in the company. L'oreal senior HR mangers introduced the history, development in China and the brand business of L'oreal, and answered the students’ question about how to apply for internship in L'oreal and the company’s campus recruitment plan, while the representatives of ECNU alumni and alumnae in L'oreal shared their employment and occupation development experience with the students. After that, Ms. Zhu Ning, Brand Communication & PR Director of L'Oreal in Shanghai and an ECNU alumna,made a special exchange session with the student and explained their questions of time arrangements, professional development and occupation choice in detail, which benefited the students a lot.
Enterprise Tours, a series of occupation experience activities organized by the Employment Advisory Service Center (EASC), aim to help ECNU students set a clear direction to future occupation application and career planning, as the activities provide them access to experience enterprises culture and get the first-hand recruitment information of some world top companies.
