Alumnus Yang Mingqiu Wins “Shanghai Top 10 Emerging IT Youths” Award

ECNU alumnus Yang Mingqiu won “Shanghai Top 10 Emerging IT Youths” award in the 11th “Shanghai Top 10 Emerging IT Youths” awarding ceremony held on December 22 in Shanghai International Convention Center.

 

Since 2002, “Shanghai Top 10 Emerging IT Youths” has been annually awarded to Shanghai youths contributing greatly in the city’s informatization construction by Shanghai Committee of the Chinese Youth League, Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Informatization, etc.

 

Yang Mingqiu obtained successively both his bachelor and master degrees from ECNU and is the executive president of ECNU Alumni Association of School of Business as well as founder and president of the Spider (www.spider.com.cn). Founded in 2005, the Spider has become the biggest and most influential online publication institute in China with its leading place in China’s e-commerce market of cultural products like newspapers, books, film/show tickets, cultural souvenirs, etc.
