On December 30, 2012, the Siqun Hall on Zhongbei Campus was filled with excitement, blessings and gratitude as ECNU MBA Graduation and Awarding Ceremony was held there and 447 MBA graduates of the class of 2013 attended the important events with their families and friends.
At the ceremony, Lu Jing, ECNU Vice President, sent congratulations and blessings to all the graduates. With words of Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel-winning Bengali poet, Lu hoped all the graduates would continue to care and support the development of ECNU, their alma mater, in the future.
On behalf of the instructors, Prof. Feng Xuegang, expressed blessings and expectations to the graduates. Gao Jinsong, a graduate representative and a new employee of HSBC Shanghai branch, expressed his gratitude to the University for providing him with unforgettable campus life and competences for obtaining a good career promotion. Shen Yi, another graduate representative even choked with tears as he recalled the detail life in ECNU. Their speeches won prolonged applause from the audience as they expressed the mind of all the graduates.
At the end of the ceremony, Lu Jing awarded all the 447 MBA graduates degrees one by one and took group photos with them. President Scholarship, Wisdom Scholarship for excellent graduates, as well as Award for Excellent Thesis were also awarded at the ceremony.
