ECNU International Students Compete in 2012 Shanghai International Students Sports Games

ECNU international students compete in the tug-of-war.
 

On December 1, more than 60 international students from ECNU competed in the 2012 Shanghai International Students Sports Games and won one gold medal, three silver medals and two bronze medals.

 

During the Games, the only gold medal was won by Castillo Eduardo from International Studies Abroad (ISA) in Men's Triple Jump. 

 

Comprised by 12 Mongolian students, the gold winning group at ECNU International Students’ Games competed again and won silver medal in Group Rope Skipping among 15 university teams with the result of 196 jumps in 2 minutes. The other two silvers were obtained in 1500 Meters and Women’s 4*100 Meters relay respectively.

 

Women’s 200 Meters also had good results with a bronze medal obtained by a Japanese student. The other bronze medal was won by a Byelorussian girl in Women’s Shot Put.

 What’s more, the team made of members from International Student Football Club also had good performance in Steeplechase and got the fourth place. And students from ISA and Shanghai Center of New York University got fifth place in Men’s 4*100 Meters relay.
