Practice Base of Psychological Aids to Juveniles Established

The launch ceremony of the Practice Base of ECNU Applied Psychology Master’s Psychological Aid to Juveniles.

 

The Practice Base of ECNU Applied Psychology Master’s Psychological Aid to Juveniles was established with joint efforts from ECNU and Shanghai Municipal Higher People's court with its launching ceremony held on November 7.

 

At the ceremony, Luo Guozhen, vice chairman of ECNU Council, addressed and said that the establishment of the Practice Base could promote the applied research of psychology and facilitate the Higher Court’s affaires.

 

Ding Shouxing, the inspector and head of Juvenile Court Guiding Group of Shanghai Municipal Higher People's court also spoke highly of the cooperation between ECNU and the Higher Court in providing professional training in psychological counseling aiming to safeguard juveniles’ lawful rights and alleviating conflicts within families as well as among the society.

 

To provide more practical knowledge in the Base, fifteen judges from the Higher Court were employed as ECNU’s part-time instructors at the ceremony.
