Prof. Huaxin Lin named AMS Inaugural Class Fellow

Prof. Huaxin Lin was named an inaugural class fellow of American Mathematical Society (AMS) , according to the announcement released by AMS on Nov. 1st.

As a distinguished international mathematical organization, AMS made its Inaugural Class Fellows Program this year to recognize members who have made outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics. A primary goal of the program is to create an enlarged class of mathematicians recognized by their peers as distinguished for their contributions to the mathematics profession.
