ECNU's Research Aids Construction of Shanghai International Shipping Center

The appraisal meeting of Report on .Program of Building Excavated-in Harbor Basin in Hengsha Shallow Shoal of Shanghai International Shipping Center was held on November 10 in shanghai.

Leaders from Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission and CCCC Third Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd, as well as experts in this field attended the meeting in which new schemes raised by CCCC Third Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd and ECNU’s State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research was published.

On the hearing, the report made jointly by research group from CCCC Third Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd and State Key Laboratory of Estuarine was fully affirmed by experts for its prospect in improving Shanghai Port’s competence as an international shipping center.

According to the meeting, the research on the program has lasted for two years and gained much help from Shanghai International Port (Group) Co., Ltd., Tongsheng Investment (Group) Co., Ltd., and the Yangtze Estuary Waterway Administration of Ministry of Transport.
