New Post-doctoral Mobile Research Stations Approved

With the end of approval for the 8th batch of national mobile post-doctoral research stations, ECNU sees another 6 mobile post-doctoral research stations.  

Those stations are approved according to 12th Five-year National Development Plan for Post-Doctoral Work, and the requirements for adjusting disciplines and majors memtioned in Catalogue of Disciplines for Degree Awarding and Talents Training (2011)issued by the Academic Degrees Committee of State Council as well.

The 6 newly approved mobile post-doctoral stations are of the following majors, namely, Applied Economics, Computer Science & Technology, Software Engineering, World History, Ecology, and Statistics.

When China built the post-doctoral system in 1981, ECNU was one of the first batch of universities that had won nod to establish its post-doctoral mobile research stations. With 30-year devotion, ECNUers have built 23 post-doctoral mobile research stations covering 82% doctor degrees so far. In these years, more than 500 postdoctoral fellows have been cultivated in these stations, and many of them have become leaders in their fields of either academy or management.
