Symposium of Institute of Ancient Chinese Book Studies “Zhu Xi's Classical Studies and Its Transmission and Development in East Asia” Held in the U.S.

From May 7 to 8, the international symposium “Zhu Xi's Classical Studies and Its Transmission and Development in East Asia” was jointly held by our Institute of Ancient Chinese Book Studies, History Department of Arizona State University and Taiwan Academia Sinica Institute of Chinese Literature and Philosophy. The symposium was undertaken by Arizona State University. About 40 scholars of universities, colleges and research institutes from Europe, the U.S., Japan and Taiwan got together in Phoenix in Arizona to attend the symposium. During the symposium, they had heated and deep discussions from perspectives of Zhu Xi’s classical studies and historiography.
