Xu Jilin Delivers Academic Speeches in Harvard University and NewYork University

 The executive vice dean of Si-mian Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities, professor of History Department Xu Jilin visited Harvard University early in May, attending the academic conference “China’s Urban Political Cultures: A Comparative Perspective” which was jointly held by Shanghai History Studies Center of Si-mian Institute for Advanced Studies in Humanities and Harvard－Yenching Institute. He held an academic lecture “Enlightenment and Chinese Civil Society: the cases of Wang Yuanhua and Li Shenzhi” in Harvard University on May 3 and another lecture “New Socialist and Mordern China Identity” in New York University on May 7.
