ICSMT 2011 opened in ECNU

On October 12, the 2011 International Conference on School Mathematics Textbooks (ICSMT 2011) hosted by the Department of Mathematics, School of Education Science and International Center of Teacher Education was opened in ECNU. Present were University of Chicago professor Zalman Usiskin, University of Southampton Albert professor Geoffrey Howson and other scholars from Germany, Australia, Japan, South Korea, I srael , Singapore, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Almost 200 faculties and students from ECNU and other universities and  publishing houses representatives attended the opening ceremony.
