Secretary of ECNU Party Committee Tong Shijun Meet with Robert D. Griffiths, U.S. Consul General in Shanghai

On September 28, the secretary of ECNU Party Committee Tong Shijun met with Mr. Griffiths, the U.S. Consul General in Shanghai, and his delegation at Minghang campus. During the meeting, Tong expounded our philosophy of schooling, which is “creativity, character and community”. And both sides fully exchanged their understandings on the “university spirits”. Later they had discussions on the construction of Shanghai New York University, the development of Fulbright Program and the scale of the U.S. overseas students in our university.
