President Yu Lizhong Met the Delegation of Assistant Minister of United States Department of Energy

David Sandalow, assistant Minister United States Department of Energy, and its senior consultant Jennifer Lee visited our university on the afternoon of April 21st, 2011. Their Counselor Julie Eadeh and Greg Pfleger accompanied this visit. Our President Yu Lizhong gave them a warm welcome. Our Professor Zhang Guixu, Yang Pingxiong, and leaders from International Exchange Division also participated in the reception.

 

In the meeting, David Sandalow looked back to his experiences in the past 1980s when he was learning Chinese at our university, saying that great changes had been made for the past thirty years. After the meeting, he gave our students a brilliant lecture.

 

David Sandalow received his Bachelor’s Degree from Yale University, and graduated as a Master in law from Michigan University. He is assistant Minister of Department of Energy, mainly in charge of policy negotiation and international affairs.
