Vice President Chen Qun Met the Delegation of American Education Department

Delegation of twenty people of American Education Department visited our university on May 10th, 2011. Vice President Chen Qun gave them a warm welcome on our North Zhongshan campus. Many people accompanied in the reception, including leaders of our Hanban, leaders of Shanghai Educational Burean, leaders of our International Exchange Division, Professor Ding Gang, Professor Yan Guangcai, Professor Zhao Zhongjian, Professor Zhang Jiping, and Professor Wu Yongyi.

Chen Qun gave a welcome speech to the delegation, introducing our policy of internationalization. He also addressed that many American universities have been cooperating with us and that recently Shanghai New York University has been founded. He hoped that further cooperation could be promoted to enhance the development of Sino-American education.

 

After the meeting, the delegation visited our International Training Centre of Chinese Teachers and took part in the seminar with the students there.
