President of University of Roskilde, Professor Ib Poulsen headed a delegation of seven people to visit our university on November 29th, 2010. Our President Yu Lizhong gave them a warm welcome. The delegation included their ex-President, Professor Henning S. Olesen, Professor Jorgen Rafn of Psychology and Education Department, Mr. Mette Reebirk of their International Affairs Office, Mr. Zhang Wei in charge of International Programs, Mr. Lars Christensen of Denmark Innovation Centre, and Senior Consultant Mr. Zhu Bin. Our dean of Educational Science School Professor Ding Gang and vice Director of Vocational and Adult Education Research Institute Professor Huang Jian accompanied them in the reception.
In the meeting, our President Yu introduced our university to them and looked back to the achievement made between the two universities, hoping to further cooperate with the guests. After that, their president, Professor Poulsen expressed heart-felt thanks to us, wishing to continue the cooperation between the two parties. In the end, on behalf of each university, the two presidents signed an agreement on building a Sino-Denmark Work and Study Centre.
It is reported that the two parties intended to extend cooperation in more fields.
