Australian Orator Nick Vujicic Made a Speech at East China Normal University

Australian orator Nick Vujicic made a public speech at our university on December 10th, 2010. Near two thousand people listened to his brilliant speech. Our vice Chancellor and vice President Lin Zaiyong and other celebrities attended the meeting.

Lin Zaioyong expressed in his speech that Nick’s life experience moves and enlightens many people. More importantly, Nick’s speeches have been changing people’s attitude towards disabled persons. He believed that Nick’s thought-provoking presentation today would also encourage the people present.

This time the topic was “Dream and Hope”. He talked about the adversities in life and how to deal with them positively. Him humour and confidence moved many people present. They said, “Thank you, Nick!”

 

It is reported that Nick has been come to China three times for making speeches. Last year, he had gone for Sichuan, making a speech for the children who had suffered a lot from an earthquake. Before he came to our university, many students knew his name from the Internet.
