The Ninth International Conference of the Academy of HRD (Asia Chapter) Held at East China Normal University

The Ninth International Conference of the Academy of HRD (Asia Chapter) was held at East China Normal University on November 15th, 2010. Vice Chancellor Luo Guozhen, Director of the Academy of HRD Asian Branch M.Osman-Gani, and Chairman of the Academy of HRD Darlene Russ-Eft made speeches in turns. Director Wang Hong of Life-long Education Division of Shanghai Municipal Educational Commission and Chairman Li Youwei of China Talents Research Centre addressed in the conference.

 

The Academy of HRD is the top international academic organization, holding conferences three times every year. The theme of this meeting was “Workplace learning and Sustainable Development for Individual, Organization and Society”.

 

Many scholars and officials attended the opening ceremony, including Li Huikang, Han Min, Zhu Wenbin, Sun Jianming, and Shi Weiping.

 

The conference lasted for two days. In total, over 90 people coming abroad and more than 150 Chinese people took part in the meeting. It is of great significance of promoting the development of human resources for our country.
