Vice President Chen Qun Attended the Second ASEM Rectors’ Conference

On the invitation of President Li Jixiu of Korea University, our vice President Chen Qun attended the second ASEM Rectors’ Conference held at their university on October 26th, 2010.

 

The conference was hosted by Asian-European Fund and AUN and held at Korea University. Almost eighty officers attended it. Its theme was “cooperation between Asian and European Universities: Serving the Global Knowledge Society”. The first conference had been held in Berlin, Germany.

 

In the conference, vice President Chen Qun met their President Li Jixiu, exchanged ideas on educational internationalization in the higher education field. Both parties reached common ground on student and teacher exchange, and co-researching, deciding to sign cooperation agreements as soon as possible.

 

It is reported that Korea University is the No. 1 private university in Korea.
