President of University of Padova Visited our University

Recently President of University of Padova, Professor Giuseppe Zaccaria and his wife visited our university. Our vice President Ren Youqun gave them a warm welcome on our North Zhongshan Road Campus. He introduced our history and key disciplines to them. Both parties had a discussion on student exchange and co-research.

 

Giuseppe Zaccaria, founded in 1222, is a renowned university in Europe. The first woman Ph.D Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Piscopia had been graduated in 1678 from their university.

 

After the meeting, accompanied by leaders from our International exchange division, they had a look at our campus.
