Deputy Mayor of Lyon Headed a Delegation to Attend the Founding Ceremony of JORISS

The founding ceremony of JORISS was held on October 21st,2010 on the third floor of the old Physics Building on our North Zhongshan Road Campus. Deputy Mayor of Lyon, Jean-Franois Arrue, President of Lyon University Michel Lussault, President of ENS Lyon Jacques Samaru, our Vice President Ren Youqun and Zhu Ziqiang attended the ceremony.

 

Mr. Ren Youqun presided over the ceremony. Mr. Zhu made a welcome speech. Mr. Arrue congratulated the founding of JORISS. Mr. Samarut and Ms. Lussault highly praised the cooperation.

 

In 2002, a collaborative graduate program had been initiated by our university and the ENS Group. In 2005, both parties co-founded Sino-French Graduate School. There have been 108 students graduated from the school. JORISS has been founded on August 31st, 2010. And this ceremony was held for celebrating its founding.
