Vice President Zhuang Huiming Headed a Delegation to Visit San Francisco

Our Vice President Zhuang Huiming headed a delegation to visit San Francisco on September 25th, 2010. Members of our North Californian Alumni Association gave them a warm welcome. The delegation were consisted of over twenty people, including leaders of Academic Affairs Office, International Exchange Division, and vice deans of each schools who are in charge of teaching affairs.

 

That evening the forty people got together to hold an evening party. Harvard Club Director Modestra Garcia also attended the party. Zhuang made a speech, saying that the achievement overseas alumni are great honour to the Alma Mater. He hoped that further friendship would be development between our university and alumni. Professor Gong Jinkang, director of the Graduate School, had a discussion with us on textbook designing, student training and teacher education.

 

After that, our delegation visited the silicon valley there.
