President of Tokyo Gakugei University headed a delegation of five people to visit our university on September 23rd, 2010. Our President Yu Lizhong gave them a warm welcome. In the meeting, both parties praised highly on the friendship and the achievement of cooperative programs, proposing that further exchange programs can be carried out in the future. Many other scholars attended the meeting, including our vice President Lu Jin, Director Wang Rongliang, Professor Wu Zunmin, Associate Professor Zhang Wenming, and deputy Director of International Exchange Division Peng Liping.
On September 28th, president of Nara University of Education led a delegation to visit our university. Vice Chancellor Luo Guozhen received the guests. In the meeting, both parties explored the possibility of exchanging students. The leaders present included Director of International Exchange Office Ding Shuzhe, Director of International Education Centre Zhao Zhongjian, Dean of Tourism Department Lou Jiajun, and Professor Wu Zunmin. After the meeting, they had a look at our campus, talking with many teachers accompanied.
The two universities in Japan are well-known teachers’ universities. It is the first time for their presidents to have visited our university.
